Dr. Kleber is currently a Licensed Clinical Psychologist practicing in San Diego California and Bend, OR. For over 30 years he has maintained an intense involvement in providing assessment, direct care, training and consultation serviceswithin many special needs populations in many settings. These have included his clinical work in secure hospital settings, schools, small residential and day treatment agencies, and involvement in family homes. Trainings have been provided to Doctoral candidates, professionals, paraprofessionals, and all levels of family or personnel involved in working with persons with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or Asperger’s Syndrome.
Dr. Kleber has witnessed and participated first hand in the “evolution” of research and treatment for Autism and Autism Spectrumdavid_2 Disorders over this extended period of time and holds a unique perspective and clinical competence not often seen in other practicing clinicians. His passion and interest in working with families to support them in their lifelong challenge in raising a son or daughter with ASD is a motivating force throughout his practice.
